Electro Forming Workshop
In this demo-focused intensive workshop, students will learn all about growing copper and thinking of metal as skin!
Students will be led through an electroforming crash course: what you can plate, how to prepare our objects for plating, and the plating process!
With a focus on carved wax, this intensive course is ideal for anyone looking to go big (or small) while working light, without the weight of casting!
This class is perfect for those who are introductory metalsmiths and those with a ton of experience looking to break into a new way of making jewelry objects.
Learn all about electroforming from an expert instructor and add this technique to your metalsmithing toolbox – all while growing your metalsmith’s green thumb!
A materials kit fee will be available for purchase on Saturday morning at the Studio usually $38-$46 depending on number of participants.
