Lab Sessions

from $288.00

A lab session is essentially a day pass that gives you access to the studio during open lab hours on the date you choose—no class enrollment required. You’re welcome to work independently during any of our scheduled open lab hours and during offered Classes and Workshops (giving priority to equipment and soldering stations to enrolled students)

To purchase lab sessions, you’ll need to have completed an introductory metalsmithing or jewelry course and pass a brief competency test. This ensures that all users can work safely and confidently with the studio equipment. Session packs are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Benches are available during all open studio hours unless a special event is in session. Please note that during weekend workshops, space might be limited —so be sure to check with Laura before planning your visit.

Who Can Rent a Bench?
To rent a bench, you just need to be enrolled in a class or be a member. If you’ve learned elsewhere, that’s totally fine—we may just ask you to show you're comfortable using the studio equipment with a assessment. It’s all about keeping the space safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Previous experience in one of our beginner classes—or a skills assessment with one of our instructors—is required before using the studio. If you haven’t taken a class with us, you can schedule an assessment for $30 (free with membership).

Once you purchase the assessment, we’ll reach out to schedule a time for you to come in.

If you have any questions about eligibility, feel free to email us at flameandform@gmail.com.
