IN SESSION * Liquid Enamel Methods for Jewelry
Liquid enamel is a fast and effective way to achieve smooth, even color on metal—but it also offers a range of controlled techniques for building depth and refined surface design.
You’ll learn how to apply liquid enamel to copper with intention through methods such as brushing, dipping, layering, and selective removal. We’ll explore how to create clean, consistent coats, how to build layered color and how to introduce subtle surface variation using techniques like sgraffito.
Throughout the class, we’ll discuss proper application, tool selection, and how different techniques affect the final fired surface. The focus is on understanding process, improving consistency, and expanding your technical approach to enamels.
Enjoy a small class setting with personalized attention from an experienced enamelist.
Materials are included with tuition . A list of optional materials will be discussed the firs day of class.
