Color on Metal

$328.00

Add a splash of color and personality to your metalwork! In this hands-on class, you’ll explore a variety of ways to bring color into your jewelry—from patinas and powder coating to enameling and even color pencils. You’ll create small test pieces for each technique, learning how color can highlight form, set a mood, or enhance your design. Along the way, we’ll also touch on how these methods fit into your overall construction process. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Basic metalworking skills are helpful, but not required!

Studio Lab Hours Included

Learning doesn’t end when class is over. Your enrollment includes a weekly supervised Studio Lab where you’ll have dedicated bench time to practice new techniques, continue class projects, as you refine your skills. It’s the perfect opportunity to experiment and make the most of your time at the bench.

By the end of six weeks, you’ll leave with a collection of samples and finished jewelry!

We’ve got you covered!

Tool kits are available to rent or buy from our tool shop and will be handed out during the first class—easy peasy. Basic materials are included, and if you need extra, you can grab more from the shop anytime.

All students in this course get access to open lab once a week—just pick the day that works best for you! Need more studio time? No problem! You can add extra hours at a discounted rate with a studio membership.

Need to cancel? No problem—just give us a heads-up!

If something comes up and you need to cancel two weeks before the start date, we’ll provide a credit you can use toward another class or workshop.

If you need to miss a class, we totally understand—but unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or transfers for missed sessions. For multi-week studio classes, you’re welcome to use open studio hours to make up any time you miss during the course session.

Once a class has started, we’re not able to offer refunds or move you to a different session. That said, if we ever need to cancel a class on our end, you’ll receive a tuition credit that’s good for up to a year.

Thanks for understanding—we’re excited to have you in the studio!
