Enamel and Powder Coating Weekend

$265.00

Enamel and Powder Coating together all on a fun weekend workshop !

Give your metalwork a bold splash of color and a long-lasting, professional finish! In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to adapt the industrial process of powder coating for your own jewelry and metal projects—safely, simply, and affordably.

Vitreous enamel will be introduced on the second session, for an amazing addition of color and texture . Each student will take home 2 pairs of earrings made with their own hands!

We’ll walk through the entire process, from prepping your metal and applying thermoset powder, to curing your pieces in a heat source and seeing your colorful results the very same day.

You’re welcome to bring small metal items—keys, brackets, costume jewelry bits, or other found objects made of any metal to be covered in powder and baked—and you can also use the copper, brass sheet and wire provided in class to make something from scratch.

Whether you’re looking to add bold color to your work or just try something new, this class is a great place to start!

Open Lab Sessions:

We’ve got you covered!

Tool kits are available to rent or buy from our tool shop and will be handed out during the first class—easy peasy. Basic materials are included, and if you need extra, you can grab more from the shop anytime.

All students in this course get access to open lab once a week—just pick the day that works best for you! Need more studio time? No problem! You can add extra hours at a discounted rate with a studio membership.

Need to cancel? No problem—just give us a heads-up!

If something comes up and you need to cancel two weeks before the start date, we’ll provide a credit you can use toward another class or workshop.

If you need to miss a class, we totally understand—but unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or transfers for missed sessions. For multi-week studio classes, you’re welcome to use open studio hours to make up any time you miss during the course session.

Once a class has started, we’re not able to offer refunds or move you to a different session. That said, if we ever need to cancel a class on our end, you’ll receive a tuition credit that’s good for up to a year.

Thanks for understanding—we’re excited to have you in the studio!
